Tsukumojuzusango is a species of coral in the Rhizangiidae family, Scleractinia order. It is found on the Noto Peninsula and Tobishima, Yamagata Prefecture. The coral was first found in the indented Tsukumo Bay, in Noto Town, and it was named after the bay. It lives in the shallows up to about two meters in depth. There are large colonies on the vertical sides of reefs and on their overhung parts. In Ishikawa Prefecture, the coral is widely distributed on the east coast. On the west coast, the colonies are rather small. On the Environment Ministry’s Red List, it is classified as a Threatened Local Population (LP).
